About Me
Summary
I've been developing websites since 1996. I am currently head of UX/UI Design with createTank, LLC and I also do limited freelance web consulting.
Currently my day-to-day focus is XML and database development with T-SQL and PL/SQL. My design portfolio includes websites, graphics, and publications developed for small businesses, higher education, conferences, state organizations, non-profits, programs and special projects.
I volunteer and serve as the president of Arthurdale Heritage, Inc. This non-profit formed in 1985 to preserve the history of Arthurdale, WV, the nation's first New Deal homestead community. It was a personal project of Eleanor Roosevelt. My work with this organization involves an array of project management, planning, fundraising, communication and entrepreneurship skills.
I also have extensive experience with teaching, presenting, conference and event planning, writing, and public relations. I have served on the planning committees for various technology conferences and events.
