So the Iranians are rather …um…irate about the movie 300, based on the Frank Miller graphic novel claiming it is part of anti-Iranian propaganda in the US. What I find hilarious about this contention is that they actually think that Americans in general are knowledgeable enough about history to know that Persia and Iran are the same place.
By saying that they are actually giving the American public much more credit than they realize. Hell, I seriously doubt that most of the people who see it in the US even know where Greece is much less Persia. Here’s a link to a story about it: Tehran condemns ‘anti-Iranian’ movie 300
