What does it mean when Charlie Sheen agrees with me?

I don’t know if I should be creeped out or what, but it is interesting to find out that there seems to be a growing number of 9/11 conspiracy theorists out there who think the admin “let” it happen to solidify control over us. I guess Charlie Sheen has said as much lately – which is kind of weird. Seeing how they routinely fall back to “reminding” us that it happened and that 3,000 people died (oh yeah…I forgot!…Thanks!) to justify why this is a “war” and not a law enforcement issue.

I just wish that there was an easier way to debate this with these people. I mean I think intelligent people are just always so jaw-droppingly stunned with their stupidity, assumptions and black and white view of the world that they can’t verbalize a coherant, uncomplicated response. It doesn’t help that it awlays has to be in 30 seconds or less to make a good soundbite. Most things take longer to explain. Can’t we learn some patience in the country? Or is that just the media’s view of the world?

ANYWAY…so yeah. I am guilty of thinking that more menacing things were afoot on September 11, 2001 than even being attacked by a group of terrorists out of the blue. Being a student of history and knowing that abuse of power is not unheard of (by any means) in our country’s not-so-distant past, it would not surprise me in the least if they knew damn well what was going to happen, but made the decision not to do anything to keep us scared and too sheeplike to question their tactics. Gee…I wonder if that worked?
